The Late Croc'n'Brock Memorial Cup

2009 Event played 10 January 10

By unanimous consent of those present, the recently established tradition of playing the event LATE (in deference to the Croc and Brock) will continue with it being held the first Sunday in January in the FOLLOWING calendar year when an even number turn up.

The 2009 event:

1      Played over 9 holes in the following January when an even number of players turn up.

2      Two boxed balls per entry, shared among the winning pair, who each lose a handicap stroke.

3      Played in teams of two as follows:

holes 1-3:    Ambrose, at least one tee shot to count from each player (averaged handicaps rounded up applying)

holes 4-6:    stableford better ball

holes 7-9:    stableford aggregate.

Highest stableford team score becomes SMERGS Pairs Champions (naturally).  Winners lose a handicap stroke each (of course).
