2008 Event played 4 January 09

 

The 2008 event:

 

1      Played over 9 holes when an even number of players turned up - we had to wait until early 2009 for this one!.

2      Two boxed balls per entry, shares among the winning pair.

3      Played in teams of two as follows:

holes 1-3:    stableford foursomes (averaged handicaps rounded up applying – alternate tee shots)

holes 4-6:    stableford better ball

holes 7-9:    stableford aggregate

 

Highest stableford team score becomes SMERGS Pairs Champions (naturally).  Winners lose a handicap stroke each (of course).
